OK. So, maybe there’s a chance Jon Lester won’t win 20 games. There’s probably also a chance he won’t win the Cy Young Award. So, there’s no reason to even watch the last three games this weekend, right?
Wrong! After all, you never know when you’ll see something you’ve never seen before. This will be your last chance to see Mike Lowell in a Red Sox uniform. It might be the last chance for Victor Martinez and Adrian Beltre. Or Hideki Okajima. Or Dice-K. Or any number of people. Plus, it’s the Yankees. As they say, you can throw out the records when these teams play.
Speaking of Mike Lowell, the Sox have decided that Saturday will be Mike Lowell Day at Fenway. I figured, if it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for me. So, check in tomorrow to this very site for a whole day dedicated to the 2007 World Series MVP. It should be fun.
Go Sox!
