1975 Topps Page by Page: Page 62 (550-558)

I'm sure that you all remember that I finally completed my 1975 Topps set.

Now that it's done I thought it would be fun to look through the set and talk about it. Going page by page seemed like a good way to go about it. Hopefully you find it interesting to read what I have to say.

How about we continue with page 62?

Red Sox Cards on the Page

0. I need another one to show up soon.

Cards that make the 1975 Topps set cool

Cards of young Hall of Famers are cool. Rich Gossage definitely fits that bill. Gossage would make his first all-star team in 1975 while leading the league in saves at the beginning of his lengthy career

My favorite card on the page

Not a lot going on here, but the action shot of Ralph Garr really stands out. Seems a little early for him to have lost his helmet already. How hard did he swing, exactly?

What would your answers to those last two categories be?

  1. Garr is my favorite and the coolest both then and now. Even if it is a repeat of his 1974 card.

  2. Gossage doesn't look like Gossage without his mustache..
