The Stage has been set. The Match is underway. Who will come out on top? There’s only one way to find out.
Keep going, and open that ninth pack!
As we dive into this pack, the match is tied, and stayed that way thanks to a tie score in pack eight. Can someone grab the lead this time? Let's see!
Ugh. That can't be the start 1988 was hoping for. This rather blah Yankees card knocks it back a couple point.
Yikes. The hole gets deeper as yet another Yankees card sinks the 1988 pack. Not sure this is the type of hole you can climb your way out of.
Well, that will help. And, another card that would have made 1988 me very very happy. The Fleer rookie card of the future Red Sox star would have been a great pull.
But, for the 1988 pack, that's the end of its scoring. It will have to hope that its -2 score will somehow stand up.
That's the way to start it off. First thing out of the pack is a Red Sox sticker to give 1990 a hefty lead.
And the lead extends to a commanding five points. This is a great card of Raines, with the blue border perfectly complimenting the blue Expos uniform.
Well I guess it can't all be wine and roses. 1990 takes a slight step back with this Yankees card. At least it's an action shot.
Luckily for 1990, that's where the scoring ends. So, the 1990 set easily holds onto its lead to win the pack!
More important, it means 1990 once again takes the lead in the match! Will anyone ever take control?
