It would be nice to have Beltre at 3B, but you really can't complain. That's a pretty nice looking team.
ReplyDeleteFuck the Yankees. Boston will be back in the playoffs in 2011.
I know he makes a ton more money and Tito gives veterans LOTS of leeway but I think they should substitute Kalish for Cameron.
ReplyDeleteTito doesn't always favor vets. He stuck with Pedroia his rookie year until he was nearly killed. I think Cameron will be better than Kalish in 2011. In 2012, the Sox can have Kalish and Ellsbury tracking down every flyball within five miles.
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes Dodger...the Sox will be back in the playoffs in 2011. How can they not be?

You certainly got better with AGon, but I would still rather have this lineup. And the Yanks are not done yet.
You finished in 3rd place in the AL East with only an upgrade from VMart to AGone, and you have to watch Salty in your lineup everyday?
Keep dreaming guys. You are not that much better of a team than last year. Yeah, Yeah, you were injured. It certainly made a difference, but I still think the Sox are not much better on paper this year than when the season started last year. You need some serious bullpen help too.
I do agree that it was a good trade, but Beltre + Vmart does not equal AGone + Salty. You still have some catching up to do. Salty was given the job last year and couldn't hold it. B. Molina is still available.
Papi will feel "disrespected" in the 5 hole. Just saying. Oh, this just in... "If Adrian comes back to the sox, then I won't" this coming from Jacoby's agent after Beltre won the crash last year.
